Our GW4 research community is proud to announce the launch of the AHRC GTE project on Transforming Housing and Homes for Future Generations. The team is working with and for communities in Bristol and Swansea to transform homes built in the 1920s-1940s to be net zero carbon, nature positive, climate resilient, and supportive of wellbeing by:
• creating a co-design innovation ecosystem of industry, practitioners, social housing landlords, community groups, and researchers.
• co-creating low energy resilient homes using bio-based and non-extractive materials, together with renewable energy supply and storage.
• taking on the challenge of bringing together diverse stakeholders to work together to design remodelling solutions to create low energy homes.
